Los Angeles, California

Old Hollywood deco glamour was the inspiration for this romantic wedding overlooking all of Los Angeles. Velvet linens, romantic florals, flowing champagne and warm candlelight served as a glowing backdrop for this loving couple to exchange their vows and celebrate with their loved ones.

Equal parts glam for the California-bred makeup artist bride and down home for the country singer-songwriter groom from Georgia, this eclectic wedding day featured an in-the-round ceremony with hay bales, a live bluegrass band, vintage china and flatware and a whole lot of love and laughter. The lock and key escort and place cards pays homage to their shared love lock.

A low-key summer soiree overlooking the Pacific ocean and surrounded by family and friends suited these lovebirds perfectly. Guests enjoyed a ceremony in the clounds, followed by a family band performance, a delightful family-style feast and dancing into the wee hours.

Having met on the AIDS/Lifecycle ride from San Francisco to LA 10 years ago, this couple chose to honor their history with the bicycle icon on paper goods and in the bike wheel escort card installation. Their favorite things, including Jackie’s obsession with rose gold and Matt’s love of cookies played out with beautiful metallic design elements and a fun alternative dessert station. It was a night under the stars to remember.

A white wedding would not do for this fun-loving couple. Instead we chose a bright color palette and bold florals mixed with modern geometric patterns. A secret whiskey bar and a surprise cotton candy cart were a delightful treat for their guests.

Every detail of this lavish wedding had its roots in the past. From the bride’s Grace Kelly-inspired gown to the early 1900s cabaret and jazz tunes at cocktail hour to the bride’s collection of vintage love letters decorating the dinner tables, each design element was carefully considered. The absinthe cart, whiskey and pickle backs station and vintage paper moon photo booth kept guests celebrating until the wee hours. Produced while co-owner and creative director at Gather Events.

To celebrate their long history together (they met in 1st grade!), this couple threw a lavish dinner party that was both edgy and romantic. As a subtle nod to their mutual love of Gossip Girl, X’s and O’x were incorporated into the paper goods and a custom XOXO marquee enhanced the dessert table. This couple’s colorful wedding held at the bride’s family’s horse stable, is a perfect representation of their love of travel, history and family. Mexican textiles blended with rose quartz and copper for an eclectic, global feel. Late summer fruits and bold florals made for interesting centerpieces and guests left with bottles of wine from the family’s own on-site vineyard. Produced while co-owner and creative director at Gather Events.
