Palm Springs, California

This modern meets sophisticated boho wedding was the product of one stye queen bride and her surfer husband. High contrasts of black, white, and gold added a classic touch to this chic celebration at the Parker Palm Springs. Guests were delighted with personalized coconuts to find their seats and a cigar rolling station to close out the night.

Equal parts glam for the California-bred makeup artist bride and down home for the country singer-songwriter groom from Georgia, this eclectic wedding day featured an in-the-round ceremony with hay bales, a live bluegrass band, vintage china and flatware and a whole lot of love and laughter. The lock and key escort and place cards pays homage to their shared love lock.

A low-key summer soiree overlooking the Pacific ocean and surrounded by family and friends suited these lovebirds perfectly. Guests enjoyed a ceremony in the clouds, followed by a family band performance, a delightful family-style feast and dancing into the wee hours.

Old Hollywood deco glamour was the inspiration for this romantic wedding overlooking all of Los Angeles. Velvet linens, romantic florals, flowing champagne and warm candlelight served as a glowing backdrop for this loving couple to exchange their vows and celebrate with their loved ones.

Having met on the AIDS/Lifecycle ride from San Francisco to LA 10 years ago, this couple chose to honor their history with the bicycle icon on paper goods and in the bike wheel escort card installation. Their favorite things, including Jackie’s obsession with rose gold and Matt’s love of cookies played out with beautiful metallic design elements and a fun alternative dessert station. It was a night under the stars to remember.

A white wedding would not do for this fun-loving couple. Instead we chose a bright color palette and bold florals mixed with modern geometric patterns. A secret whiskey bar and a surprise cotton candy cart were a delightful treat for their guests.

Every detail of this lavish wedding had its roots in the past. From the bride’s Grace Kelly-inspired gown to the early 1900s cabaret and jazz tunes at cocktail hour to the bride’s collection of vintage love letters decorating the dinner tables, each design element was carefully considered. The absinthe cart, whiskey and pickle backs station and vintage paper moon photo booth kept guests celebrating until the wee hours. Produced while co-owner and creative director at Gather Events.
